Neon nails for today

The color is pretty but i have to say though

it's pretty sheer and not pigmented enough for me. I need to reapply 

a few coats for the color to show (by few i mean 3-4)and it dries off matte. 

But that's not really a problem as long as you have shiny top coat on

( my favorite top-coat now is by Seche-Vite)

#2 A girl can't have too many ....

I saw these Dolce & Gabbana MISS SICILY bags 
on Luisaviaroma the other day and i'm falling in love

First one with chain strap. Love!

The shape is so classic and the chain just adds an edgy feel to it.

Perfect for a casual day out as well as formal meetings, don't you think?

Here's the second one with leather strap. Smaller than the one above

 

If only the bag comes with those two interchangeable straps (wishful thinking...)

I think it'll be a great idea if designer brands produce fun straps every season so we 
can mix-and-match with the bags that we own. Wouldn't it be fun? Hmmm

I also love the nanos from CELINE. They're so cute and practical.

I've always loved bags with handle and strap, especially when i travel

I checked out all the shades one by one on the beauty blogs that 
i could find before i purchased any of them.

Saves you from the heartache, you know? :D
I hate to be stuck with things i bought wrongly online (many experiences in the past)
so i suggest you to do the same. Yes, it's troublesome but better safe than sorry;)

#1 PILOT

Let's start from here!

Well, today i tried caviar manicure, introduced by UK brand, Ciaté
They don't have stockists in Singapore so i had to find other alternative to get the look.
I was at the craft store today, hunting for scrapbook materials to finish my project for a bride-to-be when i chanced upon the microbeads, so i had to get it, right?. All i need is just a regular black nail polish and sprinkle the beads on top before the nail polish dries out.
After that, pat it gently onto the nails and finish off with top coat.

So this is my first attempt. It's still a bit messy so excuse me, my middle finger and the lighting as i suddenly felt the urge to do this at night :D Will post better pictures when i managed to do it on all 5 nails.

I'm currently obsessed with Nail Polishes. I just purchased 4 bottles of Essie (via Thatbeautyshop), Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday (via Luxola) and two more from Beautybay (Deborah Lippmann's Shake Your Groove Thing and Ciate's Sugared Almonds). Will post pictures once they arrived! Can't wait to play with them. What's your favourite brand for nail polish?
